The zero real growth of the budget of the Council of Europe is a serious challenge which makes baseball gloves more than ever imperative the need to better prioritize the activities of the organisation and to modernize, thereby make its operation more efficient. If the Council of Europe does not prioritize, the budget constraints will affect negatively all activities, by decreasing the general quality of the performance of the organisation. In general I agree that “core business” needs to be favoured. However it also needs to be taken into baseball equipment account that a great part of the member states support several activities in the field of social cohesion, culture, education, health, sport and other which not necessarily fall into what others regard as “core business”.
